In 2002 a German environmental medicine practitioner, Dr. Hannes Kapuste, published the statistical results of the New Zealand mattress-wrapping campaign: "Giftige Gase im Kinderbett" ("Toxic Gases in Infants' Beds"), Zeitschrift fuer Umweltmedizin (2002, No. 44).
